African Engineering Services SARL/Afrique Engineering Services Ltd. is a civil engineering consulting firm based in Mali and Ghana.We provide a wide range of services in Mining, Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering. We have personnel who have lots of experience working within Africa. Our goal is to deliver quality service to our clients in a timely and cost effective manner.

SERVICES

Geotechnical Site Investigations

Our Team have expertise in performing various in-situ tests. We have capabilities to initiate site investigations for greenfield projects for Process Plant construction, Tailings Storage Facilities(TSF), airstrips, buildings, etc. We also help with materials investigations to identify borrow areas for earthworks projects. We undertake the following in-situ tests: CPT/CPTu, Seismic Velocity CPT, SPT, DCPT, vane shear tests, core logging,borehole drilling

Construction Supervision and QAQC Management

We undertake technical construction supervision,Project Management and QAQC management for Tailings Strong Facilities(TSF) construction and water Storage facilities(WSF). We help to deliver projects to client under budget and on-time ensuring quality is not compromised. We also undertake technical construction supervision for facilities such as processing plants, roads, bridges, buildings, airstrips etc. Our personnel have been involved in similar construction projects in Mali, Guinea and Ghana.

TSF Instrumentation

We do installation, monitories and maintenance of various devices for Tailings Storage Facilities which includes:

Vibrating Wire Piezometers(VWPs)
Standpipe Piezometers
Inclinometers
Telemetry
Monitoring Wells

Laboratory Testing and Management

We provide basic and advanced soil and concrete testing services. Some of the tests performed by our laboratory include:

Triaxial tests
Direct shear tests
Consolidation
CBR

and all basic soil tests. We can also set up a fully equipped laboratory on various projects to be able to undertake tests in real time.

Survey Services

Construction monitoring and setting out.
End of month surveys and reconciliations.
Bathymetric surveys for water storage facilities.
UAV services(drones) for stockpiles, TSFs, topography, etc.
TSF supernatant pond monitoring.
establishing initial survey control points.
detailed as-built surveys post construction.

Earthworks Designs and Cost Estimation

Earthworks modelling and designs, for earth structures including Tailings Storage Facilities.
Construction quantities appraisal and analysis for earthworks.
